Union UMC has hosted Volleyball Teams since at least the year 2000.
We fielded two teams in the Winter 2009 season. The teams took first and third in the end of season tournament. The teams consist of youth and adults intermixed. We had members from Union UMC, Signal Hill UMC and New Athens UMC.
The teams play in the First United Presbyterian Church Volleyball League at 1303 Royal Heights Road in Belleville.
The games start in the first week of January and go through early May.
Practices are on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Practices are held in January and February. |
