2010-2011 VISION STATEMENT AND GOALSMISSION STATEMENT: Uniting People With Christ MEMBERSHIP GOALS: 1. Evangelism: Receive at least 25 family units annually with a special focus on young families. 2. Worship: Increase worship attendance to 400 by the end of 2011. 3. Nurture: Increase average Sunday School attendance to 150 and additional Christian Education classes attendance to 100 by the end of 2011. MINISTRY GOALS 4. Staff/Parish: Develop a plan for a full-time business manager by 2011. 5. Evangelism: Create 2 specific community programs to recruit new families. 6. Outreach: Sponsor at least two adult mission trips annually. 7. Outreach: Participate in at least one housing/community work project in Belleville. 8. Building: Complete the interior renovations to the Sanctuary, Nursery, and 2nd Level. 9. Evangelism: Increase our first time visitor retainage to 70%. Union United Methodist Church is both a traditional and progressive church. While maintaining our heritage, we will strive to increase our membership, expand our ministries, and strengthen our faith for the purpose of building up the body of Christ and of serving our communities. |
