The Tidings is the newsletter of Union United Methodist Church, 721 East Main Street, Belleville, Illinois 62220.

The Tidings is published twice a month with the deadline for submission of articles generally at 10:00 am on the second and fourth Mondays. There are often variations in the publishing schedule because of holidays.

The newsletter is duplicated by our church administrative assistant, collated, addressed and mailed by volunteers on Thursdays following the deadline.

The master copy is prepared with Microsoft Office Publisher 2003.

The Tidings features letters and information from Pastor Ed Weston, Associate Pastor Holly Wood, news of church ministries and activities, personal messages from congregation, youth and educational pages and a music page.

The Tidings welcomes submission of Union church news, religious and inspirational items and responses, critical or otherwise from our readers.
